Cool Bathroom Signs at Disneyland!

[undefined=undefined]In an effort to escape the cold, snowy Ohio weather, I flew down to Orlando for a very quick trip earlier this month. Got lucky and had very nice weather. I was able to see some of the new Fantasyland features at MK - but a lot remains under construction. Was thrilled to get to ride new Under the Sea Journey of the Little Mermaid. Couldn't get into "Be Our Guest" restaurant, but it looks beautiful and very family friendly. They're still building the mine ride - you can catch glimpses of the progress they're making. Hopefully will be open later this year. I was most impressed with the new Storybook Circus area. Love the water spout park and am going cra-cra-crazy over the new Mickey's Circus/Dumbo pins. I spent a LOT of $$$$$ on those during this trip. (I had been saving up). I've always been a fan of circus art (while actually not liking real circus at all) - so for me, the graphics on these new pins are irresistible!

PS I actually GOT IN TROUBLE taking a pic in the classic Carousel of Progress - everyone was snapping photos. But the setting on my camera was accidentally "obnoxious flash" and when I went to snap the shot quickly, it held the flash for a good 2-3 seconds. A CM buzzed in with "TURN YOUR CAMERA OFF!" Whoops!!!!

Hey all!

I wanted to see if anyone else here is a Disney cosplayer!

I love cosplaying and have done a few Disney ones so far, my favourite one to be is Jessica Rabbit (even though those heels are killer!!!) because I love getting hugs from people in Rabbit onsies ^_^ I'm yet to find myself a Roger to cuddle though!

Here are a few photographs of the characters I've done so far

Any feedback you have is always welcomed as I am always looking to improve my cosplays. Also any suggestions as to which one to wear to MCM Expo Comic-Con are welcome too as I can't decide!!!

First we'll start with Ranger Mira Nova of Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, a Disney Channel show from years ago

Next is Toy Story's Jessie ( I need more pics of this one when I've fixed the Jeans to be higher waisted, I took the wrong ones to the con!)

Next is Mother Gothel. This was my first villain cosplay and I loved that my friend was Rapunzel too! We both had great fun making these!

This has to be my fave one of this cosplay!

And last but not least is my Jessica, sadly I do not yet have the studio shoot of this as Pouncy's not uploaded them yet but I do have these two from my camera The guy dragged up as Ariel was doing so for charity

This wasn't my fault. It was a totally honest mistake. I was headed East in Frontierland when I heard a voice from behind me yell 'Westward Ho'. I spun around, pins flying off my lanyard and faced the rude person yelling at me from behind. 'Who you callin HO, Helium Heels! She gasped, dropped her bags full of merchandise and hissed at me. I brought my hand up, made a claw like gesture and 'pfffft pfffffft' back at her.

She dived for me! I ducked but was too late and we hit the ground in a big ball of flailing arms and cat noises. We rolled to the left, we rolled to the right, her posse yelling 'Get him', my posse yelling 'OMG we are SOOO embarassed!"

After a few minutes, the Disney Police came and broke it up. She stood, wiping the lonely dust spot off her dress, I stood, battered, torn and bleeding.

The Disney Police looked at me, snickered and said, Dude, you just got whooped by a six year old girl. Then he tossed me over the fence.
