Art of Animation value resort - cool family suites (video)
I just got a sneak peak at Disney's new value resort, Art of Animation - hopefully opening this spring at WDW.

See the video online here:

I loved all the design themes: Cars, Finding Nemo and Lion King. The extra space looks like smart design - smart space. Wonder what the nightly rate(s) will be. I can't wait to see it when it opens.

We where walking by and a construction worker was going in a door that leads to the new land
and my wife asked so nicely if she could peek in and the guy left the door open for her to look all around Smile
she cant wait for it to open and take little Dean there.

I can't wait to see that resort when it's done.
Will be a lot fun and I also love all the themes, looks like plenty of room.

I love the look of the themeing! We stayed at POP Century and I loved all the big icons, it was so fun. I think this is going to be similar. It might be on the list for a possible place to stay when we go back.

That Pop Century Hotel looks awesome especially for a child. We would take ours as he would have a blast but he's never been on a plane and sometimes fusses about the trip to DLR. Maybe we should start with a small flight to Vegas or something as we both have family there. Then Start off on longer flights till we end up in Florida and then my final destination France and Italy. But we'll wait till he's a teen before we go for an 18 hour flight. Think my partner and I will just take a romantic vacation there as we are dedicated to raising our son but everyone needs some time to themselves. Especially married couples with children. Lol.
