Everyone loves a parade (but why so many?!)
Confused Now, I love a fun parade as much as the next gal - and of course the kids generally enjoy them. But it seems there is a parade every 20 minutes at WDW MK - mostly during the "extra magic hours" at night which makes it hard (and sometimes scary, believe it or not) to get around. When those parades are over, it's shoulder-to-shoulder, and for someone like me who is short, it can become claustrophobic. Hard to see a foot in front of your feet. Unless it's a really special parade, we like to use that time to take advantage of shorter ride lines, or do some pin trading while the stores empty out. But during the last trip, it got to be so difficult making way through the parade crowds -- both before they started and especially after they were over. I think there were literally 4 parades in one evening. I ended up leaving Magic Kingdom and did some pin trading at the resorts. It was a bummer. I love MK at night - but not if it's one parade after another. Anyone experience anything similar?

Tell me about it. Everytime I go to DLR they're escorting you to the side of Main Street. Or they're setting up for a parade. They do allow breaks in between the parade for guest to pass but sometimes the wait to pass is longer than just walking around it. Now it's happening at DCA too. They have this new pixar parade which is pretty awesome but I don't appreciate the water being splashed if you're not looking at the parade or lined up to view it. But I never heard of more parades during the magic mornings.
